Upcoming grant/funding opportunities

We have a number of multi-year funding contracts coming to an end in June 2019 which include funding through Arts and Culture as well as Social and Recreation funds.

These contracts are generally allocated in three year funding cycles, however we will be recommending a 2 (TWO) year funding cycle for the Arts and Culture Fund applications.

Timing

  • We will need applications submitted by 18 April 2019 for funding from 1 July 2019.
  • The Wellington City Council Grants Subcommittee meet on 30 May 2019.
  • Funding for 2019/20 is subject to approval through Council’s Annual Plan process.
  • All grants over $100,000 per year then have to be approved through a subsequent City Strategy Committee, this is likely to be 13 June 2019.

Applications are made online and we have created a draft application for you within our funding portal, we have included guidance within the attached document.
